A. GETTING STARTED

1. REGISTER
   
   
   • Complete our Registration Form or call us.
   • An account will be set up for your organization and you will be given full access to the Marketing Materials portion of our web site.
   • Our welcome kit will be mailed to you, containing information about the program and pre-paid, pre-printed shipping labels.
     
     
2. START PLANNING
   
   
   • Determine your target audience. (Generally, 45-50% of the people you target will have un-needed cell phones)
   • Discuss your plans with us. (Rely on our expertise and experience)
   • Call us - we have staff to advise and answer any questions you may have.

B. GETTING THE WORD OUT!

1. PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS
   
   Publicity is the key to conducting a successful collection campaign. Once registered, you will be able to download and customize our free promotional material so that your organization has a successful collection campaign.
   
   Some of those materials include:
   
   
   • Publicity Ideas
   • Flyer Templates
   • Press Release, PSA, Media Alert Templates
   • Various Letter and Email Templates
   • Teaching/Classroom Aids
   • Donation Receipt Template
   
   
   
2. PUBLICITY ACTIVITIES (some examples)
   
   Publicize your collection drive with our free support materials!.
   
   Hang and distribute flyers throughout your community.
   
   Promote your collection program through your:
   
   
   • Community newspaper(s)
   • Organization’s newsletter
   • Local radio station(s)
     
     
   If your collection is part of a school fund raiser, use our Teacher's Aid to educate your students on recycling and the environment.
   
   Put the ECO- CELL logo/banner on your website.

C. Monitor Progress

If you have drop off sites, be sure to check to see if you need to put out new collection boxes or empty the existing ones. Keep everyone who is involved energized, excited and focused on your goal. If appropriate, award weekly prizes.

D. Sending phones to eco-cell and receiving payment

1. ARRANGE FOR OUR FREE PICK-UP
   
   Just place one of the pre-paid, pre-printed shipping labels on a "shipworthy" box and call our shipper. If you like you may Contact ECO- CELL to schedule a free pick up or to arrange shipping.
   
   
2. PAYMENT
   
   All fundraising activity is paid on the last day of every month. A detailed statement regarding your shipments will be emailed separately. Unless notified, ECO-CELL will not issue a check for fundraising activity of $10 or less. Instead, we will credit your account and add it to a future payout. If you would like a check issued monthly regardless of amount, please contact Lindsey at lindsey@eco-cell.org.

NOTE: ECO-CELL has found that an ongoing, year-round collection yields the best
results especially when punctuated by your existing fundraising events!
